On 26 August 2026, Acting Consul-General YANG Chenqi, Consul LIU Chunyan  were invited to the Opening ceremony of the Queensland-China Radiology Knowledge Exchange Program, which was held by Queensland Health. Mr Dylan Hampson, Executive Director of System Strategy Branch, System Policy and Planning Division, Queensland Health; Dr Glen Kennedy, Executive Director of Queensland Cancer Lead, Queensland Health delivered welcome speeches. About 30 people, including 15 senior radiology specialists from Chinese tertiary hospitals, and representatives from Queensland Health, hospitals and universities, attended the event.

In his remarks, Acting Consul-General Yang highlighted the trading partnership and people to people exchanges between China and Queensland. He noted the visit provides a precious opportunity to foster Queensland-China knowledge exchange in the field of Radiology and will bring great benefits to the two people.

The speakers highly praised the ongoing cooperation between Queensland and China in the field of Health and medical care.
