On 13 April 2026, Consul-General Dr RUAN Zongze was invited to visit the Business School of Griffith University, met with Professor Byrne, the Pro Vice Chancellor (Business), Ms Piper, the director of Griffith International Unit and the members of the MBA group from Hong Kong Metropolitan University.

Dr RUAN commended Griffith University for its significant role in promoting educational exchanges and cooperation between China and Australia. He expressed the hope that the university would continue to organize more educational exchange activities to enhance people-to-people exchanges between the two countries, and consolidate the friendship between the Chinese and Australian people.

Professor Byrne thanked the Consulate-General for its continuous support to education exchanges between China and Australia and would like to continue promoting further bilateral educational cooperation.
