On 18 October 2025, the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Brisbane held a “Conversation with Dr Consul-General” with the students and their lecturer from the School of Political Science and International Studies，the University of Queensland. Consul-General Dr RUAN Zongze delivered a welcome speech followed by a Q&A section. Deputy Consul-General Ms LI Suyun and young diplomats from the Consulate-General were present.

Dr RUAN introduced the development of China-Australia relations and encouraged the students to visit China to broaden their horizons, and become the envoys of friendship between the two countries. The lecturer and students engaged in interactions actively.
