Consul-General Dr RUAN Zongze attended the Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of China-Australia Diplomatic Relations jointly hosted by China-Australia business community

On 1st December, Consul-General Dr RUAN Zongze attended and delivered a speech at the celebration of the 50th anniversary of China-Australia diplomatic relations jointly hosted by ACBC QLD and CCCA BNE, and witnessed the signing of MOU between ACBC QLD and CCCA BNE.

Consul-General Dr RUAN Zongze said that China-Australia, China-Queensland economic and trade cooperation has been mutually beneficial and win-win in the past 50 years. Dr Ruan pointed out that lately President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese had a successful meeting, opening a new chapter in bilateral relations. It is the first time for two chambers of Commerce to jointly hold the event, which is of great significance. Good beginning is half done. China-Australia, China-Queensland economic and trade cooperation will increase the resilience of two countries to deal with challenges and bring more sunshine into bilateral relations.

Hon Mark Furner, Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries& Rural Communities of Queensland, Richard Watson, TIQ Acting CEO, Adelle Neary, Consul-General of Australia in Chengdu, Steve Abbott, President ACBC QLD, Pu Haiyang, Chairman of CCCA Brisbane Branch delivered speeches and fully affirmed the mutually beneficial nature of China-Australia relations. It is believed that the business community will play a positive role in further deepening China-Queensland pragmatic cooperation.

Li Suyun, Deputy Consul General, Lan Yuqiang, Economic and Commercial Consul, and more than 100 people from Chinese and Australian science and technology, education, and business communities attended the celebration.
