Consul-General Dr RUAN Zongze Calls on the Leader of the Opposition Mr David Crisafulli

On September 19, Consul-General Dr RUAN Zongze paid a courtesy call to the Leader of the Opposition Mr David Crisafulli MP.

Dr Ruan said, the most valuable experience we can draw from the 50 years’ China-Australia diplomatic ties is to advance our relations on the basis of mutual respect and mutual benefit. China has continuously been Queensland’s largest trading partner for many years, and sees huge potential and broad prospects for the cooperation with Queensland. The Chinese Consulate-General wishes to enhance communication with Mr Crisafulli and all circles of Queensland, and work together for the development of friendship and mutual-benefit cooperation between China and Australia, China and Queensland.

Mr Crisafulli MP warmly welcomed Dr Ruan to Queensland and said, Queensland and China have close ties in many fields including economics and trade, education, tourism. Chinese community in Queensland has made significant contribution to Queensland socioeconomic development and multiculturalism. The opposition looks forward to maintaining the close relationship with the Chinese Consulate-General.
