Consul-General Dr RUAN Zongze hosted Conversation with Queensland scientists

On September 9th, a “Conversation with Dr Consul-General” was jointly hosted by Griffith University, Queensland Chinese Association of Scientists and Engineers (QCASE) and the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Brisbane. 

Consul-General Dr Ruan Zongze said, China has attached great importance to scientific and technological innovation, followed the path of innovation-driven development and promoted an international sci-tech cooperation strategy that is open, inclusive and mutually beneficial. Chinese scientists are willing to work with Australian counterparts to realize the vision of global carbon neutrality and jointly respond to health challenges of mankind.

Participants of the conversation agreed that Australia should continue to strengthen existing science relationships with China in dealing with climate change, green energy development, improving human health and wellbeing, and seek more opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation in the future.
