On 19 December 2023, Chinese Consul-General in Brisbane Dr RUAN Zongze addressed at China（Henan）- Australia Industrial Cooperation Matchmaking Activities. Dr RUAN said China-Australia cooperation has broad areas and huge potential. He welcomed enterprises from both sides to exploit their advantages to promote cooperation and bring more benefits to the economic and social development of China and Australia. Dr Ruan also extended his sympathy to people in Northern Queensland affected by Cyclone Jasper. Mr WEI Xiaowei, Deputy Secretary General, Henan Province of China, Queensland State Government Assistant Minister for Education and Youth Justice Corrine McMillan, Brisbane City Councillor Steven Huang attended the event.
