On 18 November 2023, Deputy Consul-General Ms Li Suyun attended the Brisbane Airport’s media conference, welcoming the return of China Southern Airlines from Guangzhou to Brisbane.

    Queensland Minister of Tourism, Innovation and Sport Stirling Hinchcliffe, Brisbane Airport CEO Gert-Jan de Graaff, and China Southern Airlines Regional General Manager Australia & NZ Jason Sun also attended the event.
