On 19 October 2023, Consul-General of China in Brisbane Dr RUAN Zongze addressed at the Opening of Innovation and Tech Show Brisbane 2023, which was hosted by Hong Kong Australia Business Association Queensland Chapter. Dr RUAN said the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation ongoing in Beijing has showcased China's openness and win-win cooperation. In the first three quarters of this year, China's GDP grew by 5.2%, which is promising. Deputy Premier of Queensland Mr Steven Miles and relevant business people attended the event.
