Chinese Consulate-General in Brisbane hosts “When Koala Meets Panda” Chinese Culture Workshop Mid-Autumn Festival Special Event

On 22 September 2023, the “When Koala Meets Panda” Chinese Culture Workshop Mid-Autumn Festival Special Event, hosted by Chinese Consulate-General in Brisbane and organized by Queensland Multicultural Community Centre (MCC), was successfully held in Newmarket. Consul-General Dr RUAN Zongze, MCC director Mrs Jeannie Mok OAM, Senator Mr Paul Scarr, Brisbane Councillor Andrew Wines made remarks at the event. Deputy Consul-General Ms LI Suyun, young diplomats, representatives of Chinese community and more than one hundred students from primary and middle schools and their parents attended.

Dr RUAN said, Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the important festivals in Chinese culture, which showcases the cultural connotation of reunion and harmony. Thanks to the organization of MCC and the participation of the children, this event provides a wonderful opportunity to promote cultural exchange and mutual understanding.
