On 19th July 2023, Chinese Consulate-General in Brisbane and Australia China Friendship Society Queensland Branch co-hosted a seminar on "Chinese Modernization and China-Australia Relations". Participants from former government officials , scholars had a candid discussion on the topic.

Consul-General Dr RUAN Zongze introduced the Chinese path to modernization, highlighting the “people-centered” dimension. He emphasized that Chinese modernization not only enjoys a promising future for China’s development, but also brings vast opportunities for Australia and other countries around the world.
