On 2 January 2025, Consul-General of China in Brisbane Dr RUAN Zongze met with Mr Peter Fan, President of Australia Queensland Henan Association.

Dr RUAN appreciated the work of Australia Queensland Henan Association for engaging with overseas Chinese from Henan in Queensland. He encouraged the Association to fully play its role as a bridge and continue to contribute to promoting multiculturalism in Australia, as well as promoting local cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between China and Queensland.

President Fan gave a brief introduction of the term change of the Association.
